Nar and Netty awarded the best digital initiatives of the year
Known for its affordable services, mobile operator Nar and the National Internet Award Netty recognized the most successful digital projects implemented across various fields in 2025.
This year’s Netty competition featured more than 200 projects submitted across 9 nominations. A total of 22 winners were awarded in categories covering areas such as science, education, culture, inclusivity, media, and others. In accordance with the competition rules, the winners were determined based on online voting and the evaluations of expert juries.
Hokuma Karimova, Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Nar, noted that the long-term partnership with the Netty Award is built on the intention to make the Azerbaijani segment of the internet a more beneficial space for users: “At Nar, our goal is to increase digital literacy in the country and support the development of a more inclusive society. We view digital literacy not merely as technology, but as a tool that simplifies people’s lives and expands their opportunities.”
Notably, the Netty National Internet Award has been operating since 2004. Since 2018, the award has been implemented with the support of Nar.
