First phase of “Training School” courses by Nar successfully completed
First phase of "Training School" project has been completed, which is carried out in the framework of Nar corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy as a part of continued support concept of the mobile operator for integration of people with communication disability into society. Within the project jointly implemented by the "Success Academy" and "ASAN volunteers youth organization" public union, under the slogan of "Life is more colourful with us", the first group of people with communication disability successfully completed the courses, started on November 7, 2016.
The courses for up to 75 people with communication disability young people were launched on the specialty of design programs, which is one of the three directions of the "Training School" project. It is noteworthy that the trainings were conducted by a special interpreter. Head of the course was a specialist in this field, Gunay Amirova.
At the same time, psychologist invited by the project staff assessed professional capacities of the participants, helped them to increase self-confidence and motivation in the regular meetings throughout the week.
Young attendees of the courses on the specialty of design programs successfully completed lessons and were awarded certificates. Co-founder of the "Success Academy", Javid Shahmaliyev stressed that the project is another successful step towards integration of people with disabilities into the society.
"Such estimable projects arising out of a sense of social responsibility make invaluable contribution to the development of society. Nar-supported initiative was a good example in Azerbaijan's business environment", he added.
