Nar supported employment of people with hearing impairments
Nar, which pays significant attention to the projects aimed at improving the quality of people’s life completed the "Training School" project, which was implemented for people with hearing impairments. During 3 months of project, a total of 45 persons participated in intensive courses on three different professions and gained knowledge in such professions as chef, pastry-cook and engine mechanic. This project has also helped to provide employment for people with hearing impairments. Thus, despite the fact that the project has just completed recently, seven people have already started working in various business structures.
“Each of the participants who graduated from the training school is a gifted individual who can be very useful for the society. It is a pleasure to see that they are helped with directions properly and on time. I am sure that everyone who participates in this project will be able to find his place in the society"says the project's trainer Bahram Huseynov.
The “Training school” project, organized by Nar jointly with the "Support to Deaf" Public Union aims to support people with hearing impairments in gaining a profession and integrating to the society. The first “Training School” was held in the city of Baku. In the future, it is planned to continue the “Training School” project in the regions.
For almost 4 years now, “Nar” organizes such trainings for people with hearing impairments to help them learn various professions and improve their employment skills. Support for people with physical limitations and their integration to the society is one of the main directions of corporate social responsibility strategy (CSR) of Nar.
