Nar joined the workshop on “Business Benefit of Effective Corporate Social Impact Strategy”

Two-day CSR Workshop jointly organized by AmCham Azerbaijan and the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan titled the “Business Benefit of Effective Corporate Social Impact Strategy” was held on November 27-28, 2022. The workshop was aimed to strengthen members' capacity and build shared language to promote collaboration, advance CSR, and build ties of cooperation between private and public sectors. The event discussed socially significant projects implemented in the country and also helped the participants to craft individual strategies to boost their activities in this direction.

Aziz Akhundov, head of Public Relations department at Nar, gave detailed information about the company's social projects aimed at improving people's quality of life for many years, as well as the key focus areas of CSR strategy. It was emphasized that the mobile operator is a participant of the UN Global Compact, which brings together the world's socially responsible businesses. He added that the projects carried out by Nar align with the sustainable development goals. To ensure transparency and accountability, Nar has been publishing a summary of the activities taken in this direction in its Sustainable Development report for 3 years.
