Nar installed its 4G network in Terter
Nar – the country’s youngest mobile operator continues to rapidly expand its high quality 4G network to the regions. The next region center where the 4G network was launched is Terter. As of now, the residents of Terter are provided with quality and high speed mobile communication services.
Currently, the coverage of Nar’s 4G network expands rapidly throughout the whole Azerbaijan territory, and the operator has one of the largest 4G networks in the country. As a result of implemented network works, more than 45 regional centers are covered with Nar’s 4G network. During this year the operator has launched almost 570 4G stations, and more than 140 stations equipped with 3G technology. As a result of optimization works, currently the number of 4G base stations in the country exceeds 1500. The number of 3G base stations equals to 2600. By the end of this year the operator plans to expand the coverage of LTE technology by launching a total of 1700 base stations with 4G-LTE technology.
Together with 4G quality, advantageous prices create conditions for the subscribers to use mobile internet even more intensively. As a result of high quality mobile internet service, provided by 4G base stations of Nar, the volume of 4G internet traffic has grown 3 times when compared to the same period of the last year. The number of mobile operator’s 4G users has reached 250 thousand.
