On 6 April, Azerfon LLC, known to customers as Nar Mobile brand, has unveiled its new visual identity and creative platform. From now on, Azerbaijan’s fastest growing mobile operator is to be known as Nar.
The new visual identity, which has been developed by London-based strategic branding and design agency, Landor, communicates Nar’s fresh and open ethos that will have a cultural resonance with the public. The new logo reveals the ‘Nar’ wordmark inside a speech bubble icon in the shape and colour of a pomegranate.
Commenting on the rebranding, Kent McNeley, CEO of Azerfon explains, “Since the beginning of our activity on Azerbaijani market we’ve been growing and we continually improved our products and offered new services. We have always focused on better meeting consumer needs, particularly through our tariff plans and through new product innovations that we’ve introduced. We have focused more on telling stories in a straightforward and simple way, so that people can understand the messages that we are trying to deliver. And I think we’ve also done a good job of providing an emotional hook within the advertising that we’ve done so that it is interesting and enjoyable for people. Now we are ready to make a next step forward. We are happy to introduce our new creative platform, ‘Nar Garden’, rooted in the strength of the Nar word itself. The pomegranate holds a very special place in the traditions, culture and psyche of the people of Azerbaijan.”
The ‘Nar Garden’ creative platform, which has been developed by the company’s creative agency Y&R Moscow, introduces a world which perfectly reflects the new brand’s philosophy: a space where life is like a garden; in which anything can be planted, grown and brought to bloom and fruition. The creative platform presents a world open to everybody, welcoming visitors with the Nar brand’s opening line: Let’s grow together.
It should also be noted that the new store concept, which brings the spirit of the Nar brand to life in-store, was created by international retail design and research consultancy Shopworks.
Nar remains committed to effectively meeting consumer needs with a constantly improving network, exceptional value in tariffs and outstanding customer care.
