Nar continues to hold significant social activities within the framework of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. The mobile operator undertakes various actions to support persons with physical limitations and help them integrate to society. The next project of Nar aims at supporting people with hearing and speech disabilities. The mobile operator prepares special learning tool which will help people with hearing and speech disabilities to communicate with their close ones and the society more conveniently. The new training manual will be prepared in the near future with the support of “Social Support to Persons with Hearing and Speech Disabilities” Public Union.
It should be remembered that Nar keeps young people with physical disabilities in Baku and regions of the country in a constant spotlight. The mobile operator has implemented the “Training school” project in various regions, aiming to increase the knowledge and skills of young people with communication disabilities, contribute to their future careers and provide with moral support. As a result, young people with physical disabilities have acquired various professions.
According to head of the public relations department of Azerfon Aziz Akhundov, the mobile operator plans to expand the coverage of the implemented social projects: “In addition to telecommunication sphere, Nar is distinguished for effective activities in socially important areas. Especially, we are implementing long-term and consecutive projects aimed at people with physical disabilities. We believe that further social projects of Nar will also be successful and effective”.
It should be noted that support to persons with physical disabilities, as well as development of education and enlightenment, and popularization of sports among youth is one of the most important directions of Nar’s SCR strategy. Mobile operator has realized many successful projects aimed at encouraging reading, explaining the importance of education, as well as integration of people with physical disabilities to the society. In the 2018, the mobile operator has implemented 12 large social projects.
