Nar widens LTE network in regions

To provide the subscribers with unceasing communication and internet Services Nar continues the process of placing new base stations all over the country’s territory. Thanks to large-scale improvement works, the mobile operator provided 4G (LTE) service to subscribers in Baku and Absheron peninsula, city of Ganja, as well as other regions of the country. During the first 7 months of 2018, residents of 35 region centers received an opportunity to use the LTE service, which provides significant increase of mobile internet speed.
The mobile operator continues to expand application of LTE technology in regions by significantly increasing the number of LTE stations in region centers, for the exception of Baku, Absheron and Ganja. Process of new base station installation was implemented more intensively in central parts of Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Lankaran, Gabala, Shaki, Shabran, Salyan, Shirvan, Shamkir, Mingachevir and other regions. Today, the majority of Nar subscribers all over the country can benefit from advantages of the operator’s LTE network. Nar subscribers in regions can more effectively use internet resources due to speed reaching up to 225 Mbit/s, ensured by LTE technology of the mobile operator.
Nar continues measures aimed at widening its network in regions. Currently the widened network of Nar covers 93% of the country’s area and serves more than 2 million subscribers by means of more than 7000 base stations.
